“Today, the Committee is grieving the loss of our friend and colleague Congressman Turner. Sylvester’s decades of public service for the people of Houston and his service to this nation in Congress will live on in his legacy. My prayers are with Sylvester’s family, particularly his daughter and grandson, as they mourn his passing and honor his life of service.”
