Rogers Statement on Passing of First Federal TSA Employee due to COVID-19

WASHINGTON – Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), House Homeland Security Committee ranking member, released the statement below following the passing of the first federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employee from COVID-19.

“I’m saddened to hear of the passing of Francis ‘Frank’ Boccabella III. Serving over 15 years with TSA, Frank played a vital role in keeping travelers safe every day,” Rep. Rogers said. “My prayers are with his family, friends, fellow TSA employees, and the Newark Liberty International Airport staff during this difficult time.”
