WASHINGTON – Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), House Homeland Security Committee ranking member, released the statement below following the release of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Election Risk Profile Tool.
“With 61 days left until election day, election officials must prioritize what actions can best protect the integrity of American votes,” Rogers said. “Each jurisdiction has unique challenges and risks, and CISA’s Election Risk Profile Tool will be a valuable asset to help election officials safeguard votes in their jurisdiction. I applaud CISA for thinking through the possibilities and empowering election officials with CISA’s knowledge to make the decision best for their jurisdiction.”
According to CISA, the tool will “equip election officials and federal agencies in prioritizing and managing cybersecurity risks to the Election Infrastructure Subsector.” More information can be found here.
