WASHINGTON, D.C. — Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 20 at 10:00 AM ET, the House Committee on Homeland Security, led by Chairman Mark E. Green, MD (R-TN), will hold a hearing to examine the financial cost of the historic national security and humanitarian crisis at the Southwest border for border communities and cities across the country, and how President Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ open-border policies have sparked massive misuse and waste of taxpayer dollars. This hearing launches the fourth phase of the Committee’s oversight investigation into the border crisis.

The hearing will be livestreamed on YouTube and the Committee’s website.
