Rogers and Stauber Introduce the “Commitment to American Security Act”

WASHINGTON – Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), House Homeland Security Committee ranking member, and Rep. Pete Stauber (R-Minn.) today introduced  H.R. 13, the “Commitment to American Security Act.”

“While Democrats continue to amplify left-wing cries to defund the police and dismantle DHS, Republicans are taking critical steps to keep Americans safe,” Rogers said. “This bill will secure our southern border, strengthen CISA and enhance our cybersecurity efforts, improve transportation security, and reinforce information sharing partnerships. I’m proud to introduce this legislation with Rep. Stauber, and I’m thankful for Leader McCarthy’s support.”

This bill is part of House Republicans’ Commitment to American agenda, which Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) introduced in September. Republicans promise to restore our way of life by providing the resources and tools to protect Americans and their families.
