The National Guard, active duty, and reserve forces provide critical capabilities in response to terrorist attacks, major disasters, and other emergencies. This hearing will examine the vital role played by the military in homeland defense and explore their support capabilities in cybersecurity, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) incident response, and other disaster response activities.
