McCaul Statement on Selection of Thomas Homan to Lead ICE

Washington, DC – House Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) today released the following statement on President Trump’s nomination of Thomas Homan to serve as Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Chairman McCaul: “I have great respect for Tom and believe he is the ideal candidate to serve as the ICE Director. He is a plain-spoken, career law enforcement officer who will faithfully enforce the Nation’s immigration laws. He has proven to be a true leader during his time as the Acting Director of ICE and I urge the Senate to quickly confirm him.”
