The Role of Cyber Insurance in Risk Management

The purpose of the hearing is to examine the potential opportunities to promote the adoption of cyber best practices and more effective management of cyber risks through cyber insurance. The Department of Homeland Security Cyber Incident Data and Analysis Working Group that was formed to deliberate and develop key findings and conclusions about usable propositions for cyber insurance will be discussed.
