Ending the Crisis: America’s Borders and the Path to Security

This hearing will examine gaps in our security at the Southern border and what we need to do to put us on a path to security. We will hear from front line law enforcement who live on the border and confront the crisis every day. We will also have the new Department of Homeland Security Secretary, John Kelly, testify in his first hearing in front of the House Homeland Security Committee to discuss his short term and long term plans on securing the border.
