Doing Business with DHS: Industry Recommendations to Improve Contractor Employee Vetting

The purpose of this hearing is to examine the extent to which the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has unified policies, processes, and procedures for vetting the character and conduct of contractor employees, known as a fitness determination. The hearing will allow Members the opportunity to hear from industry representatives regarding the challenges and inconsistencies they encounter doing business with DHS.
