  • H.R. 3141, the “Biometric Exit Improvement Act of 2013,” introduced by Subcommittee Chairman Candice Miller (R-MI), requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish a biometric exit data system. An Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute is expected to be offered by Rep. Miller.
  • H.R. 3202, the “Essential Transportation Worker Identification Credential Assessment Act,” introduced by Subcommittee Ranking Member Sheila Jackson Lee (R-Texas), requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to prepare a comprehensive security assessment of the transportation security card program.
