Chairman-elect King Announces Homeland Security Subcommittees and Chairmen for 112th Congress
Washington, D.C. (Monday, December 20, 2010) – Today, U.S. Rep. Peter T. King (R-NY), Chairman-elect of the Committee on Homeland Security, announced the homeland security subcommittees for the 112thCongress and his appointments of subcommittee chairmen.
King said: “I look forward to working with this team of homeland security subcommittee chairmen, who recognize that the Committee on Homeland Security’s number one priority must be combating the ongoing terrorist threats facing our homeland. These subcommittee chairmen have long demonstrated their steadfast commitment to protecting our homeland from the terrorists who continue to plot and execute attacks against our nation.”
