Understanding Cybersecurity Threats to America’s Aviation Sector

The purpose of this joint hearing is to examine the current cybersecurity threats facing the aviation sector, and to explore ways in which the aviation industry is looking at cybersecurity in general. The hearing will feature individuals from the private sector who are able to paint a clear picture of the threat landscape, and provide an overview of current efforts to mitigate any known vulnerabilities. Ultimately, Congress would like to find ways that the Department of Homeland Security can better assist stakeholders in bolstering the overall cybersecurity of the aviation ecosystem.
