Joint Subcommittee Hearing: The WMD Prevention and Preparedness Act of 2011
On Thursday, June 23, 2011 the Committee on Homeland Security’s Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection and Security Technologies and the Subcommittee on Emergency Preparedness, Response and Communications will hold a joint hearing entitled “H.R.2356, the `WMD Prevention and Preparedness Act of 2011.'" The Subcommittees will meet at 10:00 a.m. in 311 Cannon House Office Building.

"The WMD Prevention and Preparedness Act, soon to be introduced by Chairman King and Rep. Pascrell, addresses the most serious threat to our nation - an attack with a weapon of mass destruction (WMD). This hearing will examine the measures in this legislation to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from a WMD attack."
